Pink and Poodle Gifts, For Me?!? Wahoo!

Hi friends! I received a surprise gift from our friend Julie. More pink fabrics for the Pink Charm Tumbler Quilt. Awesome! I now only need 29 more pink pieces of fabric.
Sweet Julie also sent me THIS!!!
AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH! Check out the adorable Suzy's Zoo poodle card! Just for me to use. Well Julie, I must keep it. I must. This is how I will "use" it. It will be on display in the Poodle Display Case I have shared here before. I seasonally rotate poodle cards for a SUPER display. Ha! Well, that is what I think and believe. ;) Julie made me that beaded bookmark for my Bible. THAT is awesome Julie. She also gifted me that Tin Needle Box. Julie and I both share a love of God, poodles and pink!! She has two toy poodles also. I know right?!? ;)

I have been getting garden work done in my new way. Sitting on a low foot stool and working for 20 minutes at a time. I can just barely not increase my pain IF I stick with this plan.
Of course my garden helpers are always there to assist. ;) Did you know this was our state flower? These grow wild down our street in a handful of people's lawns.(And of course in many, many other places throughout the state!) I asked a neighbor for one.(I am not a thief!) She said sure. She thought it funny. Thought this was like asking someone for dandelions. Well! I think NOT. She said I had perfect timing, as her husband tries to kill them off every Spring.  Live long and prosper little violet.
Well, off to work in the garden for the second time today. Maybe not even for 20 minutes though. I just can't pull it off anymore. The sun is shining and it is mild, so I shall enjoy myself. I shall!

Stitching and praying,
Vickie

Pretty pink fabrics. Are you absolutely sure that each and every one you have received is different? Or does it really matter?

What a great card for your collection!

20 minutes at a time.. .sounds like a good plan!

I love those cute little poodle legs in the garden. Brandy is a "digger" so he's the last one you would want to help you when gardening:-)
You're almost there with your fabrics Vickie, what a lovely selection you must have.

What a sweet gift! Love your garden, but I'm sorry to hear it's so hard for you to work in the garden for any length of time. I have to say I don't think my hips would allow me to do such work either. You know you are in my prayers.

The wood violet is really pretty.
It's lovely that you are getting short bursts of pleasure in working in the garden.
A lovely parcel that arrived for you.

What nice gifts from your friend.

I have those violets all over my backyard. I hate mowing because I think they're so pretty. I have dandelions all over my front yard, lol. Feel free to help yourself to either one. ;-)

Dear Vickie ,
What a beautiful gift, the substances are also quite to my taste and the pearl necklace for your Bible is a very nice idea . The checkered flower fascinates me , this way I do not know . God bless you, your Sandra

What a perfect poodle for you ahaha! I can just imagine your squeal of delight when you found that!! :D

I am like your neighbor, amused at the violet request! It's surprising that you don't have any in your yard. Maybe this one will spread~ And those checkered lilies are ones I have never seen before! Do they eventually point up?

I admire you, Vickie, for continuing your gardening through difficulty. The fresh air, sunshine, and soil, while making you sore, also are restorative. Do as much as your body tells you, then sit and enjoy the beauty. :)
